The General Secretariat of the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) and the members of the Conference Organizing Committee have the pleasure to invite you to attend the GAIF 29th General Conference which will  take place at Marrakech-Morocco, between 21st and 23rd May 2012.

The selection of the theme «Insurance and the Arab World Reform» in the current circumstances is very significant in the sense that insurance and reinsurance represent one of the main constituents of the economies of nations and thereby, it is necessary to go along with the changes that occur in the lives of the Arab Citizen.

The political context and the instability in the world today prompt us all and urge the Arab insurance and reinsurance markets to take the initiative and assess their status and role to keep pace with these developments and to benefit from them for the sake of progress and prosperity for our economies. We also hope that your recommendations would highlight the need to put more efforts into Arab cooperation which is the only way to strengthen the role of insurance and reinsurance in our Arab markets.
